Specifications

Members receive a free copy of all existing and new PICMG specification, including updates on existing specifications. 37 specifications have been published by PICMG to date and more are being developed.

Non-members can order specifications online.
Members can order additional copies of the specifications at a 50% discount. Click here to order online.

Technical information  

PICMG Europe members are being kept up-to-date on all relevant technical information, including the specification process.

Working groups  

Company members are invited to participate in a working group. An example of such a working group is the Special Marketing Group 3U, focused to the 3U format. 

And they are invited to participate - as a representative of  PICMG Europe -  in technical subcommittees initiated by PICMG US. Click here for more information on technical committees.

Website  

All company members are listed on the PICMG Europe website with a short company description, a logo and a link to their own website. Click here to view the list of members.

Publications  

PICMG Europe company members are given the opportunity to reach the market via articles and advertisements in the excellent magazine: CompactPCI and AdvancedTCA Systems Magazine. This magazine is distributed through a PICMG mailing list of subscribers. It is published 11 times a year and is focused on the developers of ruggedized PCI systems.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES   

Manufacturers, system integrators, and users have different needs and therefore PICMG Europe has created three different membership categories:  

• Company membership for manufacturers
  
• System Integrator membership for the system integrators
  
• User membership for the users.

Company membership  

Company members are suppliers of products according to the PICMG specifications.  

The Company membership includes:  

• Voting right in PICMG Europe
• Right to participate in committees within PICMG Europe, as well as in the technical subcommittees of PICMG US (as representation of PICMG Europe)
• Free (hard) copies of all specifications and updates as originated from the USA
• Receiving reports on technical meetings of PICMG US
• Visibility on the PICMG Europe website with your logo, company description and direct link to your web site
• Listing of company products in the product guide of our website
• Right to use PICMG Europe logo
• Receiving general marketing support (e.g. in the press)
• Possibility to co-operate with PICMG Europe on marketing events
• Right to use the PICMG marketing material for own marketing (like standard PICMG Europe presentation)
• Access to minutes of PICMG Europe meetings
• Invitation and participation to General Meeting of PICMG Europe, influencing the actions and future of the organization
• Receiving all PICMG Europe information (e.g. newsletters)
• Receiving free copy of PICMG Europe supported magazines

System Integrator membership  

System integrators use the PICMG technology and do not produce or sell CompactPCI or other related modules. A system integrator has its added value in the system integration, especially the software. There is no hardware development applicable.  

The System Integrator membership excludes voting rights and marketing support from PICMG Europe.
It includes:  

• Right to participate in committees within PICMG Europe, as well as in the technical subcommittees of PICMG US (as representation of PICMG Europe)
• Free (hard) copies of all specifications and updates as originated from the USA
• Receiving reports on technical meetings of PICMG US
• Right to use PICMG Europe logo
• Access to minutes of PICMG Europe meetings
• Invitation and participation to General Meeting of PICMG Europe
• Receiving copy of the standard PICMG Europe presentation
• Receiving all PICMG Europe information (e.g. newsletters)
• Receiving free copy of PICMG Europe supported magazines

User membership

The user membership is coupled to the (end-) users of the systems and products.  

The User membership excludes voting rights and marketing support from PICMG Europe.
It includes:  

• Free (hard) copies of all specifications and updates as originated from the USA
• Right to use PICMG Europe logo
• Access to minutes of PICMG Europe meetings
• Invitation and participation to General Meeting of PICMG Europe
• Receiving copy of the standard PICMG Europe presentation
• Receiving all PICMG Europe information (e.g. newsletters)
• Receiving free copy op PICMG Europe supported magazines

Membership fees

The annual membership fees are:

• Company membership: euro 2,000
• System Integrator membership: euro 750
• User membeship: euro 260
